Scheduled organization
Run up to four automatic organization passes per day and understand which folders and safeguards apply.

The scheduler organizes files at selected local times while Mouzi is running. It is useful when you prefer batches over processing each arrival.
Configure a schedule
Open Settings → Schedule, enable scheduled organization and choose from one to four times per day. Times use the computer’s local clock.
Mouzi checks the schedule approximately once a minute. A run may therefore begin shortly after the displayed minute rather than at the exact second.
Which folders run
Scheduled runs process Silent folders only. Manual and Paused folders are skipped.
If you want a folder organized only when you choose, keep it in Manual mode and use Organize now yourself. If you want automatic batches, use Silent mode with a schedule.
Grace period and safety
A scheduled run bypasses the grace period, just like pressing Organize now. It still applies:
- built-in file exclusions
- the folder’s
.mouziignore - enabled rules and their priority
- file-lock checking when that option is enabled
Do not schedule a run for a time when another application regularly writes unlocked temporary files into the watched folder. Add a .mouziignore pattern where necessary.
Mouzi must be running
The scheduler is part of the desktop application. It does not install a separate system service or wake a powered-off computer. Leave Start with system enabled if schedules should run after login.
