Why Mouzi accepts sponsorship

The app will always be free and MIT licensed. What sponsorship changes is how much time can go into it: code signing, testing across platforms, documentation, translations and the long tail of user-requested features all cost hours. Sponsors fund those hours without gaining any control over user data, because there is no user data to gain control over.

Current reach

The verifiable numbers live on the impact page and update live from the GitHub API: currently 762 stars and 35 forks on the repository, with the app translated into 10 languages.

How funds are used

• maintainer development time
• release infrastructure: signing, build minutes, testing hardware
• documentation and localization work
• domain and hosting costs

Editorial and privacy policy

Sponsors never influence the roadmap beyond the same public channels everyone uses, never receive user data (none exists) and never place tracking scripts on this site. Sponsorship is accepted only from products relevant to privacy, productivity, security, file management, desktop software or the open-source ecosystem. A sponsorship can be declined or ended if the fit stops making sense.
